Alongside the Galaxy A05s, Samsung has unveiled a more affordable variant bearing a nearly identical name: the Samsung Galaxy A05.

Key Information

While these smartphones share numerous similarities, their differences are notably more significant. The Samsung Galaxy A05 also boasts a 6.7" PLS LCD display, a 50MP camera, and a 5000 mA*h battery with 25W fast charging capability.

However, the rear panel of the Galaxy A05 lacks a 2 MP module, and the front camera's resolution has been reduced from 13 MP to 8 MP. Furthermore, the smartphone employs an HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) display instead of the Full HD+ matrix format, and it does not feature a fingerprint scanner.

In terms of specifications, the Samsung Galaxy A05 is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Instead of the Snapdragon 680 mobile processor, it utilizes an older MediaTek Helio G85 single-chip system with Mali-G52 MC2 graphics, capable of reaching speeds up to 2 GHz.

Price and Availability

As of now, the price of the Samsung Galaxy A05 has not been disclosed, as the model recently made its debut in Malaysia. Consumers can anticipate the availability of this smartphone in light green, silver, and black body colors.
